LOCATION:  Nalkoor is a small village surrounded by a rivulet and is situated  at a distance of 13 kms from Arva and  is in  close proximity to Gardady and Venoor.

HISTORY :

In 1942, Fr Alphonsus D’Cunha (1942-1951) sensing the difficulties and  problems faced by the people of Nalkoor constructed  a school building and started imparting  primary education to the local students of  Nalkoor.  During the week days, this building  was used  as a school and on Sundays, as a  chapel.
